– This was also the case with a 43-year-old Mercedes driver, who went on a dangerous joyride on the S3 expressway near Głogów – explains Asp. Staff Monika Kaleta from the Wrocław Provincial Police Headquarters.
And she adds:
On a section of the S3 road where the speed limit was 80 km/h, the man was driving at more than 227 km/h. The resident of Zielona Góra was fined PLN 2,500 and received 15 penalty points.
Police:
We appeal for careful driving in accordance with traffic regulations. Police officers will show no leniency toward road pirates whose behavior on the road may lead to fatal traffic incidents. Recently, the weather has been able to change dramatically from one day to the next, and consequently road conditions can change as well. Let us remember this when getting behind the wheel of our vehicles.
