They turned the market square into their “playground.” They climbed lampposts, took down flags and waved them around for laughs

The incident took place on the night of 10–11 August 2024. As reported by SM Bolesławiec:

(…) at around 1:00 a.m. on Rynek Street, the operator of the Bolesławiec city video-monitoring system noticed a group of people who had decided to play with flags.

Municipal police officers added: – The young people climbed lampposts and took down the flags of the city of Bolesławiec and the Bolesławiec Ceramic Festival, and then waved them around.

The Bolesławiec police were notified about the incident. SM: – The officers who arrived secured the flags and apprehended and fined one of the perpetrators of the above-mentioned act.

Bolesławiec police officers are carrying out further proceedings in the case.
