The incident took place on the night of July 30–31 in Olszyna.
At 00:35 firefighters from Olszyna were dispatched to Wolności Street, where a car had caught fire.

According to unofficial information, the arson was committed almost in front of the owner's eyes. At around 00:30, the man parked the car and went into the house, when he heard the sound of a window being smashed. When he ran out of the house, the inside of the car was already on fire on the driver's side.
Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident.
