A patrol from the police station in Kruszyn, while driving along one of the roads in the Warta Bolesławiecka municipality, noticed a passenger vehicle crossing out of its lane. – The way the car was moving indicated that the driver was having difficulty controlling it, so the officers carried out a check – explains Asp. Sgt. Anna Kublik-Rościszewska, press officer of the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec.
A 41-year-old man was behind the wheel, and the smell of alcohol was noticeable on him. The spokesperson:
A breath test of the Bolesławiec County resident showed 3 promille of alcohol in his system. The driver was detained and will face charges for driving while intoxicated.
Our fellow resident now faces up to three years in prison.
