The champions were welcomed on Monday, 22 July, in Bolesławiec, at the athletics training ground on Komuny Paryskiej Street.
Several dozen people were waiting for the medalists. They included family members, coaches, friends, representatives of the local authorities and the media. There was also cake and champagne.
In addition to Stanisław Strzelecki and Jakub Foremny, Vanessa Michaluk also appeared at the athletics training ground on Komuny Paryskiej Street. She finished the competition in the semi-final of the 100 m hurdles, recording a time of 13.88 seconds.
