The tragedy occurred on July 18, in the early evening. ZRM in Chojnów received a dramatic call about a person drowning in the Mały Staw reservoir in Rokitki.
Paramedics: – The man who had been swimming suddenly disappeared underwater for unknown reasons.
They added:
Specialist water-rescue and diving teams from Legnica and Wrocław were dispatched to the scene.
After almost 3 hours, the man’s body was retrieved from the water.
And they concluded: – Take care of yourselves, swim responsibly and exercise particular caution.
