The incident occurred on October 2, in the morning, in Mroczkowice. The duty officer at the District Police Headquarters in Lwówek Śląski received a report concerning a man lying in the road. Officers and a medical rescue team were dispatched to the scene.
The police’s preliminary findings indicate that the injured man was working on a Mercedes garbage truck. The man was riding on its rear step when he suddenly slipped and fell onto the road surface.
The injured man, a 49-year-old resident of Lubań County, suffered a head injury. He required medical assistance and was transported to hospital.
