Police officers have launched a fundraiser for the specialist treatment and rehabilitation of an injured police officer who was shot during an intervention.
Every zloty counts.

Police officers’ appeal:
On the evening of July 3, during an intervention, the perpetrator shot our fellow police officer from Bolesławiec several times. After being transported by the Polish Medical Air Rescue service to a hospital in Wrocław, the officer underwent a several-hour-long complicated operation. As the doctors reported, he suffered injuries mainly to the craniofacial region, a penetrating wound near the right eye socket, and two gunshot wounds to the arm. Our colleague has a wife and a child. He has been a member of the police officers’ trade union for many years (...).
The officer will certainly face a long, arduous and costly rehabilitation process, as well as specialist treatment, so that he can recover. On behalf of our colleague’s family and ourselves, we thank you for every zloty.
