The uniformed officer, noticing a senior woman on the sidewalk who had a dressing over her eye and was moving with difficulty, immediately asked whether she needed help. She replied that she felt very unwell and was about to fall.

Bolesławiec KPP: – A police officer from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec, hearing these words, pulled over onto the shoulder and helped the senior woman get into the police car so that she could rest.

During a conversation with the resident of Bolesławiec County, the officer established that the woman had diabetes and had been travelling since the early morning hours because several hours earlier she had undergone an eye procedure at a hospital in a neighboring county. (Hence the dressing).

The officers add: – Due to the 77-year-old woman's condition, the police officer, through the duty officer of the Bolesławiec police unit, called an ambulance to the scene and handed the senior woman over to the care of emergency medical personnel.
