One returned with a deep gunshot wound (the dog’s condition was serious).
The other dog did not return.
If anyone heard shots yesterday in the village of Tomisław… or finds a white dog lying somewhere, please provide information.
The incident occurred on Friday, May 24, at around 6:00 p.m. According to the owner of the four-legged pets, the dogs suddenly ran toward a field. One of them later returned, though no one even knows when. It lay down in the thuja bushes, and the household members heard it whimpering. As it turned out, it had suffered a gunshot wound.
The dog’s owners went to a veterinarian in a neighboring county, where they were told that the bullet had shattered the animal’s shoulder blade. They were also told that whoever had fired must have been aiming straight at its heart.
The little dog, which was supposed to undergo surgery today or tomorrow, died in agony despite receiving care. Unfortunately, it could not be saved.
Our Readers received a video from neighbors in which the sound of a gunshot can be heard, followed by one dog’s terrifying whimpering and the barking of the other.
What happened to the other pet, a white-and-reddish female dog, is unknown. The owner says that she always returned home, but she has now been missing for three days. She suspects that the female dog may also have been shot.
The woman said: – Someone will immediately say that it is my fault because I failed to keep an eye on the dogs. But am I the only person whose dogs run away?!
She emphasizes that they ran into a field within a built-up area, where people often walk with small children.
