She wrote to us: Reader:

Could I ask you to appeal to people not to litter in the forests? This is the sight I came across today while out for a walk... The area around Trzebień…

She added: – If you have the strength to bring full ones, then have the strength to take the empty ones away too!

We have written many times in these pages about the mess that some people leave in various places across our county. We have also often asked for comment on the matter when it concerned Miasto Ceramiki—whether from the municipal police or the Miejski Zakład Gospodarki Mieszkaniowej. We understand that it is impossible to eliminate this problem completely. We know that the services cannot be on duty in one place around the clock.

So perhaps it is worth appealing ONCE AGAIN—and certainly rather naively—to people who get rid of their problems in this way, asking them to care for the common good by not littering. All the more so now, when spring is in full swing and county residents are certainly going for walks more often. And quite frequently with small children.
