As reported by thedefensepost.com, American soldiers spent two days testing Dronebusters in Bolesławiec. The aim of the exercises was to “improve the unit’s readiness in terms of preparing for the threat posed by drones, which is now widespread on the battlefield.”
Previous exercises of this type were organized in Texas.
Dronebuster is a portable counter-unmanned aircraft system (C-UAS) designed to detect and neutralize commercial drones. It is a lightweight, portable device that can be operated by infantry soldiers and first responders. Depending on the variant, Dronebuster can operate for 1 to 3 hours in jamming mode and more than 10 hours in detection mode. The device was developed by the American company Flex Force Enterprises and is the only electronic attack system approved by the US Department of Defense for neutralizing UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles—unmanned aircraft).
