Bolesławiec police officers seized two counterfeit banknotes that a woman from the town tried to use at a supermarket. Our KPP:

The woman bought goods worth nearly PLN 70 and, at the checkout, handed over a PLN 200 banknote.

The cashier reacted immediately because she noticed the word “souvenir” (French for: keepsake). The senior woman then handed her... another banknote bearing the same inscription.

The result? Police officers: – A police patrol was called to the scene and established that the 63-year-old had used souvenir banknotes, attempting to mislead the cashier.

And they summed up: – The counterfeit banknotes were seized, and the woman suspected of fraud was charged. She faces up to two years in prison.
