Officers from the Patrol and Intervention Unit of the Bolesławiec police headquarters noticed a vehicle on one of the town’s streets which they knew might be used by a person subject to a lifetime court ban on driving.

When the car was stopped for inspection, the officers’ suspicions were confirmed. A 60-year-old man from Warta Bolesławiecka municipality was behind the wheel.
The officers speculate: – The offender may have hoped that he would drive through unnoticed before 5 a.m. However, that did not happen, and he was caught red-handed.
The 60-year-old now faces up to five years in prison.
