Officers from the Police Station in Nowogrodziec, while investigating parking lot damage, summoned a Radom resident to the station. As a truck driver, he frequently travels through Bolesławiec County.

When the 62-year-old appeared at the station, he was checked in police databases. It turned out that he was wanted by Interpol in Peru on the basis of an arrest warrant. The Radom resident admitted that many years ago he had been in the country whose law enforcement authorities were seeking him.
He adds: – Information from the Bureau of International Police Cooperation provided a broader picture of the case. The Polish citizen was wanted in connection with a drug-related crime that took place in 2009.
The 62-year-old was detained and brought before the District Prosecutor’s Office in Jelenia Góra.
