A total of 220 drivers were checked; in two cases, the driver’s test produced a positive result.
Road officers apprehended a resident of Lwówek County. The District Police Headquarters said: – As soon as the driver opened the window, the officers detected the characteristic smell of marijuana. A drug test carried out on the 33-year-old produced a positive result, confirming that the man was under the influence of a drug. In addition, while searching the vehicle, the officers found several dozen portions of marijuana in the armrest.
Meanwhile, officers from the Independent Police Prevention Subunit in Legnica, who were on duty yesterday in Bolesławiec County, detained a drunk 53-year-old in the municipality of Nowogrodziec who was driving with 1.6 per mille of alcohol in his system.
That was not all. Bolesławiec police:
Another driver lost his driving licence for three months yesterday. Bolesławiec road officers stopped a resident of Zgorzelec County who exceeded the speed limit by 60 km/h in a built-up area. The driver was fined 1,500 zlotys and received 13 penalty points.

Moreover, police officers from the police station in Kruszyn detained a 31-year-old who committed an offence while driving a car because a decision had been issued revoking his driving privileges.
