As we have established, the incident occurred about a week ago. Someone tore out the drainpipe of the Bolesławiec salt graduation tower. However, as istotne.pl was informed by Grzegorz Kozłowski, head of PWiK, the facility has almost been repaired and is scheduled to be restarted on Friday, March 29 – after the winter break. (The break in the salt graduation tower’s operation was related to weather conditions, not acts of vandalism.)

All that remains is to appeal to the vandals not to destroy something that is a common good, and to use their excess energy in some creative way. We should also remind them that this type of vandalism may result in a prison sentence of between three months and as many as five years.
