The Bolesławiec Municipal Police, in a post published on social media, showed two photos of the same wall in the City of Ceramics – the first showed graffiti. The second – none.
The graffiti disappeared from the wall; officers thank the property manager
In this case, the Municipal Police’s report met with a swift response from the property manager. The officers said:
We thank the property manager – the Social Housing Association in Bolesławiec – for the very quick response to our report.
They added:
We appeal to other property managers to take the same approach.
The Municipal Police had previously appealed for graffiti to be removed
This is not the first time that the Bolesławiec Municipal Police has drawn attention to the problem of graffiti and other unsightly inscriptions in public spaces. In September, officers appealed to residents and property managers, among others, to quickly remove graffiti and accumulated waste.
The officers emphasized at the time that responsibility for the city’s appearance lies not only with the services, but also with residents, property owners and property managers.
