The incident occurred on Tuesday, March 5, in the late morning, in Zbylutów. As reported by lwowecki.info:

According to the police officers’ preliminary findings, a 36-year-old resident of Lwówek Śląski Municipality, driving a Fiat passenger car along the county road running through Zbylutów, lost control of the vehicle at one point. The Fiat left the road and knocked down the barriers on a small bridge, after which the car fell into a stream. Unfortunately, the damaged barriers struck a 73-year-old man walking along the road.

Fortunately, neither the driver nor the pedestrian suffered any more serious injuries.

The person responsible for the incident was sober and was fined. Officers appeal for prudence and caution on the road.
