Officers from the District Police Headquarters in Bolesławiec detained the perpetrator of domestic violence during an intervention. The 25-year-old physically and psychologically abused his partner. Police: – A report about the aggressor was filed by a bystander who responded appropriately.
He adds: – Based on the information collected, the officers established that for the past 1.5 years, while under the influence of alcohol, the man had started domestic arguments during which he verbally abused, insulted and humiliated the woman. The 25-year-old also used physical violence, repeatedly hitting and assaulting the victim, and threatened to kill her.
He further adds: – The need to isolate the perpetrator was obvious to the investigators. The evidence collected by the police convinced the prosecutor that it was necessary to apply for pre-trial detention for the 25-year-old, and the court agreed and ordered this preventive measure for a period of 2 months.
The man suspected of physical and psychological abuse faces up to 5 years in prison.
