Police officers from the Patrol and Intervention Unit of the Bolesławiec police detained two intoxicated drivers within a few hours.
Just before midnight, a patrol stopped a vehicle on one of the streets in the center of Bolesławiec. A young man was behind the wheel, and officers detected the smell of alcohol coming from him. The test showed that the 21-year-old had 1.8 per mille of alcohol in his system.
The second driver was detained in a rural area in the Nowogrodziec municipality. The 36-year-old stopped his car on the road, switched off the engine and fell asleep at the wheel near his place of residence. The breathalyzer showed 1.7 per mille. KPP: – During a conversation with police officers, the behavior of the resident of Bolesławiec County indicated that he might have been under the influence of not only alcohol, so blood was collected from him to verify the presence of intoxicating substances in his system.
