Fortunately, the driver of the passenger car was outside the vehicle. No one suffered more serious injuries.
The incident occurred on February 21. Bolesławiec County Headquarters of the State Fire Service:
(...) at 5:24 a.m., the dispatch center of the Bolesławiec County Headquarters received a report of a collision involving two vehicles on the 43rd kilometer of the A4 motorway toward Zgorzelec. Upon arriving at the scene, firefighters from the Fire Protection Units found the vehicles damaged.
The officers add: – The truck hit the rear of the passenger car, then broke through the crash barriers, moved onto the opposite carriageway and ended up in a ditch.
Police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident. The following took part in the operation:
- Bolesławiec Rescue and Firefighting Unit (3 crews),
- Volunteer Fire Service in Trzebień,
- Krzyżowa Volunteer Fire Service,
- Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters,
- Bolesławiec emergency medical services team,
- road service.
