The vigilance of road users led to the removal of a drunk driver from the road. As reported by the Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters:

Two residents of Bolesławiec County noticed a vehicle on one of the roads that was driving erratically, veering onto the shoulder, and accelerating and braking sharply. The man's behavior behind the wheel made the witnesses suspect that he was intoxicated. When the vehicle pulled onto the shoulder, other road users immediately took action, blocking the car and taking the vehicle's keys.

A police patrol from Bolesławiec confirmed that the 41-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County was intoxicated. The test showed 3‰ alcohol in his system.

Officers confiscated the driving licence of the driver, who had committed a crime. Driving while intoxicated is punishable by up to 3 years in prison.
