The incident occurred on Wednesday, January 31, in Nowogrodziec. At around 1:00 p.m., two vehicles—a van and a truck—collided there. According to the police’s preliminary findings, the van driver, a 64-year-old resident of Bolesławiec, fainted behind the wheel.
The 64-year-old man from Bolesławiec was injured. He was taken to hospital.
The operation involved firefighters from Bolesławiec, Nowogrodziec, as well as a patrol from KPP Bolesławiec and one emergency medical team. Police were investigating the causes and circumstances of the incident. Officers are appealing to drivers to exercise sound judgment and caution on the road.
