Over the past 24 hours, officers from the Bolesławiec County Police Headquarters arrested three drivers who committed an offense by getting behind the wheel:

  • A Bolesławiec intervention patrol arrested a 26-year-old woman who was subject to a court-imposed driving ban.
  • Police officers from Nowogrodziec arrested a 53-year-old man who was driving while intoxicated. The resident of Bolesławiec County had more than 2.5 per mille of alcohol in his system and had previously had his driving privileges revoked.
  • Traffic officers stopped a 21-year-old woman for a speed violation. During the check, the officers determined that the young woman was under the influence of drugs. Her driving licence was confiscated.

The 26-year-old faces up to 5 years in prison for violating a court-imposed driving ban. Driving while intoxicated or under the influence of a narcotic carries a sentence of up to 3 years in prison.
