Officers from the Jelenia Góra traffic police stopped an 18-year-old for inspection. It turned out that he was driving a BMW that was not roadworthy. The officers found defects in the braking system, lighting and exhaust system, while the tires had worn tread.
A vehicle in such condition posed a real threat to road safety. As a result, the police prohibited the driver from continuing to drive, fined him 500 zlotys, and retained the registration certificate due to the vehicle’s technical condition. The car was towed away.
