A Reader sent us photos taken on New Year’s Day in Dolne Młyny with the following note:
(…) I wanted to raise the issue of throwing rubbish into PCK containers. Previously, rubbish was dumped on nearby plots of land by the Bóbr River; now, finally, some clever person thought of securing the access road with posts, so rubbish is being dumped everywhere.
We have reported repeatedly on PCK clothing containers and the mess that used to accumulate around them. The issue kept returning like a boomerang at Bolesławiec City Council sessions. The result? Most of these containers are now handled by the municipal company Miejski Zakład Gospodarki Komunalnej, ensuring that Dantean scenes do not occur around the aforementioned containers.
Most, but not all. We appeal to the company responsible for these containers to take action.
