This incident occurred on December 1, 2023, shortly after 10:30 p.m., on Sudecka Street in Wrocław, where an extremely dangerous incident took place involving two officers and a person being transported in a vehicle who was wanted under an arrest warrant. – Unfortunately, its consequence is that both police officers are currently in medical facilities in a condition threatening their lives and health – reports asp. szt. Łukasz Dutkowiak, press spokesperson for the KWP in Wrocław.
And he adds:
Immediately after information about the incident was received, intensive and wide-ranging search operations began, and a detailed examination of the scene was also undertaken, conducted with the participation of prosecutors from the Lower Silesian Branch of the National Prosecutor’s Office in Wrocław. By decision of the Chief Commander of the Police, gen. insp. Jarosław Szymczyk, officers from other provinces also supported the police in Lower Silesia. The actions taken produced positive results in the form of the arrest of the wanted man. The 44-year-old, who had a weapon on him and attempted to flee from the intervening officers, was subdued and is currently being held in a police detention facility.
And he emphasizes: – This dangerous criminal must now expect criminal liability for a serious offense. The suspect has already been charged with attempting to murder two police officers and could face a sentence of life imprisonment.
