– The District Police Headquarters in Złotoryja received a report of an assault on a 69-year-old city resident, who was also robbed – reports junior aspirant Dominika Kwakszys, press officer for the Złotoryja police.
Officers immediately went to the scene, where they established the course of events. The victim was an elderly man. The spokeswoman said: – According to his account, his neighbor broke into his apartment, then rendered him helpless by striking him and stole his money, documents, mobile phone and electronic equipment.
The senior estimated his losses at approximately PLN 4,000. The woman also allegedly insulted her neighbor and threatened to kill him.

As a result of the officers’ immediate actions, the 32-year-old woman was detained at her place of residence. The collected evidence enabled the police and prosecutor’s office to apply to the court for a preventive measure in the form of pre-trial detention. By court decision, the woman will spend the next three months in detention. She faces a prison sentence of up to 12 years for the crimes committed.
