On October 30, a crime took place in Bolesławiec, as a result of which the victim lost more than PLN 200,000. Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters: – The criminals, deceiving the victim by claiming that a close family member had caused a road accident in which a pregnant woman was injured, robbed the 82-year-old man.
The senior citizen answered his landline phone and heard a woman’s voice. She claimed to be his daughter and said she urgently needed money for a lawyer. (The money was supposedly needed in connection with an accident she had caused, in which a pregnant woman was allegedly injured.) Officers: – The Bolesławiec resident then heard a man who introduced himself as police officer Gawron and informed him about negotiations with the prosecutor regarding the amount of bail.
The victim agreed to hand over cash and provided his mobile phone number and address. A female lawyer was supposed to come for the money. The woman appeared outside the victim’s home twice. The 82-year-old man lost PLN 200,000 and a gold watch.

When the man spoke with an acquaintance about what had happened, he was made aware that he had fallen victim to criminals.
