The incident occurred on October 17. Firefighters from Zgorzelec:
(…) at 10:27 a.m., a serious traffic accident occurred on the 3rd kilometer of the A4 motorway in the direction of Germany.
The driver of a van hit the rear of a truck. Officers: – As a result of the incident, firefighters had to use hydraulic rescue equipment to remove the injured person from the vehicle’s cab.
The woman suffered serious injuries. She was transported to hospital.
Units from JRG Zgorzelec and OSP Trójca took part in the operation. Police are investigating the causes and circumstances of the incident.
