On Tuesday, September 28, Bolesławiec police officers stopped a Ford passenger car for a roadside check. It was being driven by a 70-year-old man. It turned out that the 70-year-old was subject to a court-imposed ban on driving motor vehicles, which remained in force until May 2011.
The man offered the officers PLN 500 in exchange for abandoning their official duties. He now faces up to 8 years in prison.
