Bolesławiec District Police Headquarters:
A 63-year-old Ukrainian citizen, driving a Volkswagen Crafter, failed to maintain a safe distance from the MAN truck with a trailer travelling ahead of him, and as a result crashed into the rear of the vehicle combination. The drivers were sober. The 63-year-old, who sustained multiple injuries, was taken to hospital.

Bolesławiec police on the incident:
(...) The van driver was taken to hospital.
Due to the heavy traffic, Bolesławiec police officers at the Godzieszów interchange are directing vehicles onto a detour towards Bolesławiec.
In Bolesławiec, drivers can re-enter the A4 by heading towards Łąka or further on towards Wilczy Las.
Another accident occurred on Friday, 29 September, at approximately 13:00. This time, two vehicles collided at kilometre 32 in the direction of Wrocław.
Firefighters from Nowogrodziec on the incident:
At the scene, a delivery vehicle had struck the rear of a trailer. One person was injured in the incident and trapped inside the vehicle. Firefighters began creating access using hydraulic tools. After several minutes, the injured person was evacuated and handed over to the emergency medical service.
Firefighters from Nowogrodziec, Czerna, Bolesławiec, as well as police officers and an emergency medical team, took part in the operation.
