The duty officer at the Lwówek KPP received a report on Saturday afternoon that the body of a man had been found by the road between Pilchowice and Pokrzywnik.

:The person who reported it happened to come across a vehicle in which a man was sitting and showing no signs of life. A police patrol and a doctor were immediately dispatched to the scene. The doctor confirmed that the 69-year-old resident of Karkonosze County was dead.
It is known that the deceased had gone fishing at Lake Pilchowickie over the weekend.
The involvement of third parties was initially ruled out. Nevertheless, the prosecutor ordered an autopsy, which is intended to clarify all doubts.
