She called Reader, who lives in the center of the City of Ceramics:

I left the house and thought I was going to have a heart attack.

She added that the purple building on Zacisze Street is “peed and sh***ed on,” while the walls are “painted with shoes.”

– Do something about this – the woman who reported it continued. – What is happening here is a tragedy.

The woman told us that she had reported the matter to the Bolesławiec City Hall, but it allegedly replied that the homeowners’ association had to deal with the problem. The Reader was so upset by the municipal officials’ response that she immediately threw the letter in the trash.

All that remains is to appeal to vandals and partygoers not to destroy something that is a common good, and to use their excess energy in some creative way. We should also remind them that this type of act of vandalism may carry a sentence of between three months and as much as five years in prison.

And we appeal to the property manager to respond.
