On Thursday, 23 September, Bolesławiec police officers conducted the “Van” operation. In recent years, the number of private carriers has risen sharply, as has the number of accidents involving buses and heavy goods vehicles. The recurring “Van” operation aims to improve the safety of passengers and other road users.
Officers inspected 85 vehicles. They detained the registration certificates of 62 vehicles (mainly because of the vehicles’ poor technical condition) and issued 57 fines.
