On Wednesday, September 15, the endoscopy unit was opened at the county hospital. The ceremony included the official handover of one of the most modern video endoscopes. Its value is approximately PLN 147,000.
The opening was attended, among others, by Piotr Roman, Mayor of Bolesławiec, Janina Piestrak-Babijczuk, Chair of the City Council, Karol Stasik, Chair of the County Council and the ZOZ Social Council, Stanisław Chwojnicki, Deputy County Governor of Bolesławiec, Dariusz Kwaśniewski, member of the Bolesławiec County Board, Jadwiga Bobek, Chair of the Health and Social Welfare Committee of the County Council, and Małgorzata Goleńska, head of the Health, Family and Social Affairs Committee of the City Council.
Hospital director Adam Zdaniuk expressed his sincere thanks to Piotr Roman and Janina Piestrak-Babijczuk for their financial support of the facility (the Municipality provided the hospital with PLN 200,000).
Improving the quality of medical equipment used for endoscopic procedures will increase the number of diagnostic examinations and, consequently, the likelihood of early detection of digestive system disorders and complete recovery.
