As reported by the Press Section of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Wrocław:
Once again this year, the Lower Silesian Police have admitted several dozen new officers to their ranks. This time, the personnel of the Lower Silesian garrison increased by 75 police officers, including 24 women. They recited the words of the oath during yesterday’s ceremony, once again held at the Zajezdnia History Centre on Grabiszyńska Street in Wrocław—a unique place that has “witnessed” the complicated history of the capital of Lower Silesia.
We have established that two of the newly admitted police officers will serve in Bolesławiec.
Wrocław Provincial Police Headquarters:
The ceremonial speeches concluded with remarks by Police Inspector General Dariusz Wesołowski, Provincial Police Commander in Wrocław. During his speech, he wished the officers that the coming years of service to others would always be accompanied by a sense of a mission well accomplished, a sense of safety in service, and the conviction that the daily mission they would carry out is very important to other people.
He also added:
The municipal and county commanders from the Lower Silesian garrison whose subordinate officers had been admitted to the service also took part in the oath ceremony. Family members of the officers, together with their children, also gathered in the square at the Zajezdnia History Centre; the children were clearly interested in the event. Everyone was happy to take commemorative photographs with the police officers.
