As we read on the website of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment in Bolesławiec:
Last week, the Commander of the 23rd Artillery Regiment, Col. (PhD) Krzysztof MALANKIEWICZ, had the opportunity to host at our unit General Darryl Williams, commander of the US Army in Europe and Africa.
General Darryl Williams became head of the US Army in Europe and Africa in June last year. This is how the portal tvn24.pl reported it:
General Darryl Williams, who previously served in Izmir, Turkey, Africa and Italy, said that he was “honored to rejoin an outstanding team to serve as commander.” Williams also emphasized the commitment of the US Army in Europe and Africa.
What was the purpose of the visit by the head of the US Army in Europe and Africa to Bolesławiec? As we have established, the details of further cooperation and the performance of tasks at the training ground were discussed.
