The incident occurred on Saturday, August 5, in the afternoon, on the road between Gierałtów and Wykroty. As established by the Bolesławiec police:
A 37-year-old resident of Zgorzelec County, driving a Hyundai, failed to adjust her speed to the road conditions. As a result, she lost control of the vehicle, which left the road and hit a tree.
Fortunately, no one was seriously injured. The driver was cautioned.
