Today, June 30, nationwide operations known as “Cascade speed measurement” are being conducted. Police officers will monitor locations where road accidents most frequently occur and where excessive speed is the cause.
The officers explain: – Cascade speed measurement is carried out by police officers equipped with handheld speed meters at several locations along the same stretch of road.
They add:
There will also be dynamic police checks. Traffic police officers in patrol cars equipped with video recorders will decisively and consistently enforce compliance with road regulations, including speed limits, among drivers.
Police officers remind drivers: – Exceeding the permitted speed limits is often the cause of serious road accidents, resulting in severe bodily injuries and even loss of life.
They also add: – Let us remember – when driving a vehicle, we are responsible not only for ourselves but also for other road users!
