The incident took place on Thursday, June 22. The matter was reported by firefighters from Krzyżowa:
(...) at 00:21 we were dispatched to respond to an SOS notification from the E-call system near kilometre 40 of the A4 towards Zgorzelec.
As we managed to establish, two cars collided there—one rear-ended the other. Fortunately, no one was injured.
Firefighters from Bolesławiec and Krzyżowa, a road rescue team, a representative of the road manager and the police took part in the operation. The police are determining the causes and circumstances of the incident.
