The long weekend is behind us. Bolesławiec police sum up:
From June 7 to 11, Bolesławiec police officers conducted intensified operations codenamed “Safe Corpus Christi Weekend”. During this time, officers focused, among other things, on the safety of people travelling in Bolesławiec County.
Only 7 collisions were recorded over 5 days. The officers report:
During the long weekend, officers intensively checked road users’ sobriety; more than 760 drivers were tested. Only two test results were positive.
Police officers from Kruszyn detained a resident of Bolesławiec County who was driving with more than 0.5 per mille of alcohol in his system. Traffic police also caught a passenger-car driver who was in a state after consuming alcohol.
In addition, officers detained 4 drivers who got behind the wheel despite court-imposed driving bans.

During the long weekend, police officers carried out procedures involving perpetrators of crimes and people wanted by prosecutors’ offices and courts.
