– Police officers from the criminal department of the Lubin police headquarters detained two men, aged 21 and 23, suspected of robbing one of the residents of Lubin – reports aspirant staff officer Sylwia Serafin, press officer of the local KPP.

And she adds: – The officers’ findings show that the victim was attacked by the perpetrators in the street. The 21-year-old struck him all over his body with a telescopic baton, including around the head. His accomplice, meanwhile, fired an air pistol at the man, causing numerous bruises, contusions and bleeding wounds.

She further explains:

As if that were not enough, the younger perpetrator threatened to burn down his former girlfriend’s home on one of the city’s streets, hit her in the face, and also grabbed and pushed her, violating the victim’s bodily integrity.

The officers explain: – It turned out that personal matters were the reason for this behaviour.

Both aggressors were detained and then taken to the prosecutor’s office. They were charged with robbery. At the investigators’ request, the court temporarily detained the suspects.

Moreover, the younger attacker will also answer for criminal threats, violating bodily integrity and possession of drugs.

Both detainees now face between two and as many as twelve years in prison.
