The incident occurred during the night of May 20–21 near Kraśnik. The car’s driver, a 31-year-old Ukrainian citizen, lost control of the vehicle. The car left the road and ended up in a ditch.
It turned out that the driver was drunk; he had more than one per mille of alcohol in his system.
The accident injured a 21-year-old female passenger in the car. The woman was taken to hospital.

During the night from Saturday to Sunday, a road accident occurred in a rural area in Bolesławiec Commune. The driver lost control of the vehicle, left the road and hit a tree. The accident injured a 21-year-old passenger, who was taken to hospital.
The 31-year-old perpetrator of the accident was detained. The man was driving while intoxicated; a test showed more than 1 per mille of alcohol in his system. In addition, the suspect assaulted and insulted the officer intervening at the scene of the road accident.
For the offences committed, the 31-year-old faces up to 3 years in prison.
