The accident occurred on 14 April 2023. A collision between two tanks took place at the training ground in Świętoszów. Lieutenant Colonel Marek Pawlak of the General Command of the Branches of the Armed Forces informed the Defence24.pl editorial team that Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers were involved in the incident. None of them was injured.

“Based on the available photographic material, it can be concluded that, as a result of the collision, the rear of one tank’s hull drove onto the front of vehicle number two, striking the turret with great force and causing it to be thrown off,” Defence24.pl experts write. In their opinion, the vehicle can be expected to undergo repairs and return to service.
