The matter was first reported by The Bad Bunzlauer:
Sometimes I think it would be nice to have an app on my phone that could take a photo or video and, after analyzing it, show what lofty thought was in the mind of the person who committed a given act. For example, you could take a photo of such writing on a bus stop and it would display a cabbage leaf, a donkey’s backside, a fish tail, a turd—or nothing would appear. Emptiness.
We regularly report in our pages that there is no shortage of vandals here. Examples from this year alone:
- His buddy did not open the door for him, so he demolished it in a fit of rage. Damage? Almost PLN 900
- Vandals wrecked lamps and a speed meter. Repairs will cost PLN 40,000
- Pseudo-graffiti artists are destroying one of Bolesławiec’s landmarks. “It makes you want to cry”
- He smashed a car window with a baton because the victim... called him out. A 33-year-old faces two charges.
Let us recall: this type of vandalism may carry a penalty of between three months and as many as five years in prison.
