On 10 March, soldiers, Ministry of National Defence employees of the regiment and invited guests celebrated the Day of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment, commemorating the heavy and bloody fighting for Kołobrzeg on 18 March 1945 by soldiers of the 23rd Light Artillery Regiment.

The ceremonial assembly, attended by the deputy commander of the 11th DKPanc., Brigadier General Jan Wojna, head of the WRiA IWL Directorate of the DGRSZ, Colonel Grzegorz Potrzuski, president of the Jordan-Rozwadowski Family Association Piotr Rozwadowski, commanders of the “Black Division” units, former commanders, and representatives of administrative authorities and institutions cooperating with the regiment, provided an opportunity to highlight the history, inherited traditions and achievements of the Bolesławiec regiment and to present Commemorative Medals and Badges of the 23rd Artillery Regiment.

To mark the 25th anniversary of the relocation of the 23rd Silesian Artillery Brigade from Zgorzelec to Bolesławiec, a delegation of artillery soldiers led by the regiment commander, Colonel Krzysztof Malankiewicz, laid flowers beneath the commemorative plaque dedicated to the artillery units whose traditions are continued by the 23rd Silesian Artillery Regiment.

The ceremony, attended by students from uniformed classes in the counties served by the Bolesławiec garrison, featured displays of Polish and American military equipment and gear. At promotional stands, artillery soldiers and WCR personnel provided information about the conditions of service and recruitment for professional service and voluntary basic military service.
