Officers from the Criminal Department of the Jelenia Góra Municipal Police Headquarters arrested a 20-year-old man suspected of a series of thefts, burglaries and criminal threats.

Police determined that from October last year until January of this year, the 20-year-old systematically robbed his grandmother, with whom he lived. His haul included a bicycle, documents, money, payment cards and other small items. Municipal Police Headquarters: – It turned out that the Jelenia Góra resident used the stolen cards to pay for small purchases in shops 14 times. The victim estimated her losses at approximately PLN 3,500.

The thief was charged with 20 offences and faces up to 10 years in prison. Moreover, the prosecutor placed the suspect under police supervision and issued a restraining order prohibiting him from approaching his grandmother. The 20-year-old will also have to leave the home they shared.
