As reported by the Lwówek police:
Temperatures below zero and snowfall cause vehicles left outside to become icy and often covered in snow as well. Unfortunately, users of such vehicles, often ignoring their own safety and that of others, clear only a small part of the windscreen, hoping that the ice will melt during the first few minutes of use and the snow will fall off while driving.
The police add: – We remind you that such conduct is dangerous and also punishable by a high financial penalty: up to PLN 3,000.
And they add:
However, avoiding a fine is simple – it is enough to comply with the applicable regulations and thus respect other road users, remembering at the same time that we are not alone on the road. Let us also remember to keep licence plates and headlights clearly visible.
